Mission Statement
The ATSI Legislative Affairs Committee is charged with monitoring, conducting research and improving member awareness and knowledge on issues of law and public policy that affect members. The Legislative Affairs Committee represents ATSI member interests before lawmakers, regulatory agencies, standards bodies and other industry associations.

Charged with monitoring and identifying areas where the
Telecom Reform Working Group
Charged with keeping an eye of Federal laws and regulations that affect the industry, including monitoring the status of Information Service Provider designation and the impact on members in the areas of taxes and assessments, number portability, CALEA, CEI, USF, and weakening of CLECs
TeleTax Working Group
Charged with keeping on top of taxes and assessments on the Federal and State level that may affect the industry.
Unlawful Competition Working Group
Charged with promoting regulatory awareness for hospital TAS.
VoIP Working Group
Charged with identification of the issues associated with using VoIP services in conjunction with telemessaging and teleservices.
